I am quitting this job today.

Today is a big moment for my career as a glass artist and glass instructor. Today I quit my day job! To be fair I have gotten myself a proper part time job at a lovely bank where I will pretend to act normal and not be the crazy thing I am in the hotshops where the wild pipes roam. But seriously, I kid.

I am absolutely stoked about working at my new jobs, part-time at both. There are insanely great perks at both. The arrangement will keep me fed, productive, fulfilled, happy and working to be a better me.

This post was suppose to explain the basics of glass and the basics of my beliefs in a rather long and hopefully entertaining manner, but tonight I am giddy and drained at the thought of any more of much of anything. I am emotionally drained and physically weak. Yet all this understood my spirit is strong. Tonight I can sleep knowing that I have a future in Glass blowing. As a artist, instructor and helpmate to my husband…. I have a future of a great many things to come.

Here are two fun videos that I found in the midst of looking up resignation letters online last night. If you've ever wanted to quit your job, you know you can relate.

Sourced on youtube and credit goes to who it belongs.

For the ones who just can't wait….I'm quitting this job today

For the planners… I'm quitting my job tomorrow
